09/08/2004; Too Hot To Work...

There's something about August thats just not conducive to staying in and working - maybe I'm getting less agrophobic in my old age, but I really don't want to be hanging around in the studio whilst there's sun to be had!

I did manage to finish the Live tutorials today; there are a few drawbacks for me that will probably prevent it from being the Logic Killer I thought it might be (no latency compensation or live inputs) but it's good for fleshing out ideas.

Starting to miss my G4 PowerBook, so much so that I've been browsing eBay for second-hand 12" models, for my mobile recording rig. I have to admit, it was a bit of a blow to find out that my boss wasn't getting me one (instead of a bog-standard, NHS issue Dell).

Going to be consolidating my keyboard rig up the the end of this year - the Nord III Rack and Remote 25 are probably going up on eBay, being replaced by the Nord III Keyboard.
