25/02/2005; Spod-u-(don't)-like

At the Apple Store on Regent Street today, picking up my iLife '05 and Final Cut Express HD updates. Don't know if it's me or not, but there seems to be a certian air of snobbishness and "my Mac is better than yours" competitiveness as people are queueing to buy iPod shuffles.

I don't know what it is about Mac users, you'd think that being part of a minority would instill a sense of community? I guess with only a 1.8% market share it condeses the typical computer-owner oneupmanship attitude into a more compact space. Still, i'd rather be a Mac spod with a more useful, creative OS than have the hod-rod mentality of most Windows users. Stop overclocking your Athalon's and get some fucking work done, you conformists! :-)
