09/02/2004; Lamb Gig at Brighton Corn Exchange

Went to see Lamb (http://www.lambstar.net) on Monday; what can I say? they were fucking amazing! Haven't seen a band with a synergy like that on stage for years, which is quite bizarre as most of their recorded material is quite mellow. These guys are definitely getting some more iPod play from me.

Support band was quite cool too, interesting thing about them is that they don't actually have a label, and market themselves through their website. Not something that's been successful for other people before, but seems to work for them. Very different, a kind of Faithless vibe with lots of different influences and vocal talent. Oh, their name is Slovo by the way (http://www.slovo.co.uk).
