31/05/2005; It's upgrade time again...

Doing a bit of a "sight and sound" update to our studio - new Mackie HR624's and Apple Cinema display have been delivered, and we are currently basking in awe at all thier AV glory!

It's so silly and fundimental, but let's face it - if you're working on penning your own tracks and you have your own studio, the one thing you shouldn't skimp on is your speaker and amp combo. I've been using Spirit Absolute Two's for the past six years, and although they've been decent enough workhorses I've never really enjoyed listening to them. Enter the new Mackies, with their integrated power-amps, flat frequency response and adjustable room settings - scince they arrived all I've been doing listening to music, listening out for all the detail that I just couldn't hear on my old set up.
